The park's centerpiece is the display of mosaic floors in four Roman villas but it contains many other important monuments including the Odeon, the Asklipieion, the Saranta Kolones or Forty Columns Fortress, the Agora and the Limeniotissa ruins of an early Christian Basilica.

There are also many Greek Orthodox monasteries in the area that are worth a visit. The best known is probably the Kykkos Monastery, high up in the Troodos Mountains. There is a village around the monastery and plenty of souvenir shops and cafes.
